Ritesh Gupta is a seasoned technology leader with deep expertise in building scalable fintech and digital platforms. He previously served as the CTO at Credithive, a London-based multinational company with a development center in India, where he led the technology function and offshore engineering teams. At Credithive, Ritesh played a pivotal role in driving financial inclusion by enabling access to mobile phones on credit for underserved populations, including miners and individuals without formal lending history. Under his leadership, the team built a robust and scalable backend system using Django (Python), deployed on AWS to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability. He also spearheaded the development of an Android-based mobile application designed as a Point-of-Sale (POS) solution, empowering field agents to seamlessly onboard customers and manage transactions in remote regions. The platform has achieved significant scale and is currently operational across 11 countries in Africa. Ritesh is currently advancing his expertise in cutting-edge technologies through an Applied Generative AI Certification from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in collaboration with Simplilearn (Texas e-learning platform). Through this program, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of applied generative AI and its real-world deployment, mastering key areas such as Agentic frameworks, Large Language Models (LLMs), and prompt engineering. He has further strengthened his knowledge in advanced AI concepts including fine-tuning, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and the practical implementation of AI-driven solutions for business applications. Positioned at the intersection of AI innovation and enterprise technology, Ritesh is focused on building next-generation intelligent systems.
